You may not like it – but I can testify as any other missiologist of the western society will attest, it is deadly accurate. My friend, Michael Frost, hits this ON THE HEAD! Your context possibly has “very small” variations in the feedback, but tell you it is true – all of it.

The opening paragraphs Frame the reality we’re in. His prophetic voice was exactly accurate and is proven true today. The closing paragraphs are the key for us moving forward. I’ve said for a long time – POST Christianity is a far more complex and harder reality than PRE… It is again pagan and therefore very difficult to establish truth. 

IF YOU approach this from winning the truth argument, you lose – let them taste and see that Christ is – and that He is good, sweet, life… they will be convinced in the heart and in the Spirit’s power, not our arguments. Again, you may not like this, may not be competent in this, my gnash your teeth. It matters not. This is where we are and we must begin here… and prove the truth of Christ in our selflessness…. For He calls us to be living sacrifices, not victors. This is hard for many accustomed to meeting Jesus on the road to Damascas, but today the Spirit is working on the road to Emmaus. Time to live it authentically, humbly and with great grace. Simple, not infamous, ordinary sacrificial love. It’s back to the 1st century!
