Revd Les Memory

Les comes from a long line of Anglican clergy going back many centuries. He is a passionate and committed Christian, has been since 1978 when Jesus became important in his life. He has 26 years experience as a Vicar, Priest-in-Charge and Priest Assistant, in both urban and rural parishes. Responding to a Macedonian call (Acts
16:9-10), in December 2024, he became part of the St Christopher’s team in February 2025. He is married to Margi, and they have two sons.

Rev Dr John Fox (Priest in Charge)

John was raised in Westport, Christchurch and North Canterbury, and comes originally from a Pentecostal background. He has been an academic, worked in family and community restoration, public policy, and children’s and youth work, as well as stints in pastoral care for students and disabled people. He was ordained in 2018.  He is Priest in Charge at St Christopher’s, and Senior Ecumenical Chaplain at Canterbury University. He is married to Emma, and they have one son, Joshua.

Revd Dr Jim Robb

Jim is a very experienced priest helping administer ministry and pastoral care within our church.  He is married to Sandra, and the Robbs are highly valued pastors of our 9am Sunday & 10am Wednesday congregations.  In addition, Jim helps by stewarding our liturgical planning & preparations.  Sandra helps in pastoral care and rostering for 9AM services.

Rev Eric Etwell

A very experienced priest and former vicar of many years, Eric serves as an associate priest within our parish.  Eric is a key pastoral priest for our Sunday 9am congregation.  Eric is a co-leader of the Christian Fellowship Group at Summerset Wigram. He is married to Raelene.
