St Christopher’s has a long history of practical support for families in need, including our Food Pantry.

First, we have our community food pantry system, shared with local people in our own community.  A few families are associated with our church, mostly they come via relational connections and through our relationships with local schools.  The food pantry became more important and vital when we experienced the Covid 19 lock down and the economic hit afterwards, and we now support many people who are not members of our parish.

We also help out by sharing some of our donated food with our friends at St Ambrose, in the Anglican parish of Linwood-Aranui.
