The Forge – our youth (secondary school age) group!
Embers – our group for year 6-8 students!
FORGE – SECONDARY (yr 9-13)!
Each Wednesday evening during school terms, our youth meet from 7-9pm at the church (normally). Beginning with fun and food, the group then has a time of following Jesus and forging authentic relationships and community, and then hang out afterwards.
During term breaks, and summer, there are events, camps and retreats. This is a safe place for any teen, no matter where they are on their spiritual journey. Students come from a variety of secondary colleges in the city.
Our youth also participate and serve in all aspects of our church family. It is our conviction that they are very much a part of our church today, not sometime in the future. From Oasis (children’s ministry) to kids’ holiday programmes, serving in services and helping with various events, they are a vital part of our shared life together.
Friends are also very welcome anytime. There’s always room at the table!

EMBERS – INTERMEDIATES (yr 6-8)!
Embers has two times a week. The first is Thursdays after school, 3.30-5pm at the church. It is often outside and involves lots of fun! Students are from our parish, as well as from the two nearest schools where we have 24/7 Youth Work staff, Westburn and Merrin Schools.
On Sundays Embers meets at 10.30am, starting with the congregation and then leaving for focused time together.
