Friday, 10th March, a group of our young adults went to Akaroa, staying in the Top Ten where they are popular and warmly received, enjoyed the evening on the quay, eating fish and chips, chatting and watching an amazing sunset.  Chatting into the evening they awoke to Susanne’s infamous cinnamon roles, a coffee in the village and then a day sailing on the Fox II!  This was the second year and new comers found what a relaxing day it was and the great enjoyment to learn so much about the harbour and area.  A related trip home saw The Crew having lunch at various places and home safe and sound Saturday, tired but full from such a positive time.
