Christ the King 26 November
Join us Sunday 26th November as we celebrate Christ the King!
We’ll have ONE service this special Sunday, and follow with a “bring a plate to share” lunch!
The time from the Tritium (Latin, 3 days: All Hallows Eve praying for one another; All Saints Day thanking God for the ordinary people who did extraordinary things empowered, led and sent by the Spirit, from whom we are encouraged, inspired and taught, and All Souls Day when we remember our beloved who died, and followed by Remembrance Sunday, when we mark a corporate time to remember together (so, so important!) those who have gone ahead, and celebrate them, thanking God for their contribution to us) to Christ the King is the culmination of our church year! We begin each year at Advent – we move through Jesus’ life, culminating the celebration that He has finished it! The work to save us, to restore Eden is done. He is going to fully in His perfect time, waiting for every soul who will turn to Him, to do so, and then the Kingdom will come in all its fulness and all things will be made new!
We need to remember, we need to be inspired, and we need to anticipate and keep this before us!
