We’re looking for an energetic and experienced
Children and Families Director/Minister to lead our thriving children and families’ ministry.
Are you…
- Committed to Jesus with a passion for the spiritual development of children and families?
- A disciple of Christ, committed to making disciples?
If yes, we have a permanent, 30hr’s a week role, in our parish.
- You will be part of a well-functioning and supportive team, so you won’t be on your own.
- Your thirty hours includes Sunday morning (families contact time).
- You have a budget, and the normal benefits, KiwiSaver, holiday, etc.
The role leads three main ministries:
- Oasis, our Sunday morning ministry (aka Sunday School).
- Mainly Music, every Monday term time; and our
- School Holiday Programmes, one week each term holidays, highly popular.
This role is ministry leadership and the ongoing development of team members to deliver these ministries is a big part of the role.
The role is also spiritual encouragement where your passion for engaging with children and their families, creating community and modelling Christ is vital.
